So my awesome boss gave me Sunday off, and I managed to get Monday off aswell by switching a shift with a co-worker who is also awesome.

Yesterday I took the kittens we found behind my grandfathers to the Vet, then I won two tickets to see a Hypnotist from CBC and then I got a perfect ride to Evolve.

Where have you gone? You were here for only 2 weeks and then vanished. You completely disappeared. I think we can both agree that I don't like you and you don't like me, but I do kind of miss you. I was hoping you might feel the same way. If not me, then Cape Breton at least...
When will you be returning? Not that I really care all that much, but sometimes you're good company. You're easier to deal with than Winter. Anyway, perhaps I'll see your sunny face again soon.

Seriously, could this get any cuter? I can't think of anything better at the end of a really long overtime-day at work than adorable heart-shaped pasta. The sauce was just tossed together using some leftovers and was great, despite accidentally dumping WAY too much rosemary into the sauce because I didn't notice the lack of a sprinkle cap. Whooops.

I threw this together with some goodies I found in the clearance bin at a nearby gourmet store, including basil & garlic grapeseed oil and Kalamata Olive pesto. It was a super light Mediterranean-themed meal and tasted totally restaurant quality.

I served it with my favorite wine, Luccío Moscato d'Asti. The best part: The wine's like $6 a bottle and it goes with everything!!
